Anyone Want to Buy a House?
Kristine's mother, Karen, is a Realtor. The other day she asked me if I'd help with cleaning a house she's selling. So this afternoon, I spent a few hours doing just that. Here are some shots of the house.
three bedrooms (two downstairs, master bedroom upstairs)
two bathrooms
1500 sq. feet
2-car garage
no insulation
no attic
no basement
Cost:
$630,000
Yes, folks, that's what it costs to live in paradise!
When I came home and told Kristine about it and then told her the price, her instantaneous reaction was: "That's really a great price!!"
See, it's all relative.
Karen, said she had three bids on it and it sold within a month. Go figure.

Unbelievable! What do jobs pay out there? Lovely home...thanks for sharing a piece of paradise with us.
Wow..that is a lot of money to me for a house that looks fairly small inside. Fonda-600,000 would be a mansion! Someone at work was discussing the severe poverty of Hawaii...how some places are very very poor. Do you see any of that where you are?
but it's paradise...ahhhhh..
i think i'll stick with the occasionial vacation there...it'd be cheaper....still a lovely area!
beautiful house!
not cheap to live in paradise i see.
