Abandoned and Locked Building

In downtown Abilene, there's a building that used to house a really good bakery.  The bakery closed, I don't know why, and now the building is covered over with plywood and the door is locked.

Front Door

I just thought this looked sweet with the two flower urns on each side of the front door.

A Retro Gas Pump

I saw this pump in the side yard of a house as I was walking down the road one day a couple of weeks ago in upstate NY.  Don't know why I didn't post it yet, but how cool is it?

Entranceway

While I was waiting for my grandkids to arrive for their lesson the other day, I walked around the neighborhood for a few minutes looking for some photo ops.  I've seen this house before but that day I stopped and took a photo of the entrance.  I love the color green and I think the decoration of the vines on each side of the door make the house so inviting.

Nana Mug

When I first moved to be near my daughter and her new family, she gave me this mug.  I love it~~the shape, the color and the sentiment.  For some reason  decided to use it for a pen holder, but the other day I was looking at it and realized it would serve me better as my coffee mug.

So I cleaned it up and now it's my new go-to mug and I'm loving it.
