Two-Apartment Building

I'm getting pretty desperate about finding photos for this "photo-a-day" blog.  Seems like I've been posting a lot of abandoned/vacant buildings lately (of which there are many, many, many) and I can't seem to find out what they were in their prime.

So today I walked around Abilene in an area I don't usually walk in, and I came across this building I've seen as I drive by, but I never stopped to take a photo.

This is a pretty new building and I'd love to get into it to see the inside.

Maybe someday.

It's been cooler here lately which is a welcome relief.  The mornings are wonderful even though the afternoons get hot.  The last two weeks of October are early voting weeks and I'm working at the polls, so for at least 2 weeks I'll have something to do.

Partial Pyramid in Lima, Peru

In the foreground of the image you can see the remains of a pyramid right in the center of Lima, Peru.  In the background are hi-rise apartment buildings that surround the pyramid on all sides.

The history of the pyramid is very interesting, although I was dealing with a very sore foot and 

was a little distracted by the discomfort of walking so much around and in the structure.

When I visited a friend in FL, we drove to this town.  I think this is such a neat looking building.

An Apartment Building

I saw this apartment building staircase with balconies while walking around downtown Knoxville.

Parking Garage

When I was walking around downtown Knoxville, I came upon this building, which I first thought was an apartment building.  Then I realized it's a parking garage and the balconies are just steps from the interior elevators.  A pretty fancy structure for a parking garage I'd say.
