Albany Methodist Church

This beautiful Methodist Church is located on a corner of one of the streets in Albany, Texas.  

The three blue circles indicate the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and they intersect at the crossbeam of the cross.

I had my wide angle lens on the camera and got this image of this downtown church.  No indication about what kind of church it is, but the street view is beautiful.

Looking up at the Steeple

This beautiful steeple belongs to a Methodist church in a small Texas Town.  I've taken photos of this church before, but never from this perspective.  It was a beautiful day and I was pretty excited about this new angle.

Immaculate Conception Church

This Catholic Church is located on the bank of the Chena River in downtown Fairbanks, Alaska.  Constructed in 1904,  it was the first Roman Catholic Church in the interior of Alaska.

The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in April of 1976.

Methodist Church

Just a couple of blocks from the abandoned, neglected Main Street of Lueders, Texas, this Methodist church appears to be in good condition and is probably one of the places people worship on Sundays.

The lawn was nicely manicured and the building next door might be the manse.

It's a rainy,  cloudy day today but even though the sky is plain white, I thought this is a great church front.

Church Steeple in Ohio

While visiting in Ada, Ohio for a couple of days I saw this beautiful church steeple and had to make an image of it.  I love when the trees are bare and you can see things through the branches.

Bell Tower

This beautiful structure is the bell tower of the Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest in Abilene, TX.

The cornerstone indicates that it was built in 1953, but it existed as a church before that in another structure in downtown Abilene.

First Baptist Church of Sweetwater, TX

A beautiful structure with a learning center adjacent to it in the center of Sweetwater, Tx, in Nolan County.  The church was first established in 1881 and the construction was updated several times throughout the years.
