Maternity Shoot

I attended a maternity/new baby workshop this weekend.  I made this image with my phone so it's not sharp but I like it better than any of the others I took.  

I seriously dislike maternity photos, but that's what the workshop was about.

The mom-to-be loved the images the instructor took and I guess that's what it's all about.

For being our model, she'll receive some free images.

Hooray for her.

I took the first picture, a friend took the second pic of me.

Last year my kids gave me a sky-diving certificate for a milestone birthday.  The appointment last fall was canceled because of bad weather and was rescheduled for today.

It was a pretty amazing experience.

My heart is grateful today for:

A New Experience

I had the chance to photograph another tattoo today. The entire shoot was a new experience for me, but what fun. The model was a dream to work with and the weather totally cooperated. The tattoo is a secret...you'll have to wait for the book to come out.
