Hotel/Motel Pool

In the back of the hotel in Eastland, Texas, there's a pool with some lounge chairs and some decking for the customers renting the rooms.  To the right of the pool is a deck area with some tables and easy chairs.

Motorcycles

Across the small road from the abandoned high school in Olden, Texas, there were these 5 motorcycles parked along the road.  They were in various stages of repair.  Maybe they were there for sale.

Office Building in Albany, TX

I've posted pics of this building before, but usually when it's winter and the trees and grass are not green and pretty.  There was a little re-construction going on, but I thought the view from this perspective was pretty nice.  The gazebo to the right of the building is pretty new, but it adds a little more interest to the scene.

Historic Cabin 

In Albany, Texas, this cabin sits in a park for visitors to see.  There's information about it as well as a bulletin board announcing events that will be taking place.

The doors and windows were locked, so I don't know if there's any chance of getting inside at any point but the cabin is fun to look at anyway,

Artwork Under the Bridge

In San Angelo, this artwork can be seen under one of the bridge overpasses.  Several of the support systems for the overpasses have artwork on them or in the ground near them.  

Sidewalks meander under the overpass so it's easy to see and appreciate the artwork that's there.

River Walk in San Angelo

This unique bridge crosses the water in the park in San Angelo.  To the right, in the water, is a statue of a mermaid.  The park has many trees for shade, lots of grass and seems to be a great place for people to spend the day when the weather is good.

Beautiful Home

This beautiful structure is on the corner of a street in Northville, NY.  There are some really gorgeous homes in that little rural town.

Yankee Hill Lock

This is the remnant of the Yankee Hill Lock when goods were moved from the east side of NY to the west side by waterway.  To the left of the image is the Mohawk River.  

This is a destination spot with the original store in between the lock and the river (not seen).  During the summer there are concerts held in front of the store.  There are also picnic tables and grills scattered around for people to have picnics and meetings.

Farm near the lake

This farm is near the shore of the Great Sacandaga Lake in upstate NY.  Below it, nearer the water line, is a beautiful house~~maybe where the farm owners live.

Small Sandy Island

The Great Sacandaga Lake is dotted with islands of various sizes, and this small sandy lake seems to attract folks who like the isolation of it.

Underside of Bridge

This bridge goes across the Mohawk River from the south side of Amserterdam, to the north side.  There's a walkway that goes under the bridge also from the north to south.

In the summer there's a concert series once a month on the north side that's usually very well attended.

This beautiful home is sitting on the shore of the Great Sacandaga Lake on a lovely early summer day.

New Sign

Some folks I know are getting ready to open a new airbnb.  This is the sign they had designed for the address of the place in the Adirondack Mts.  This side has a moose and the other side has a mountain.  

The bnb is located in a perfect place to visit many tourist places, or to just rest and relax.
