Watching the Rodeo

This young guy was sitting two seats away from me at the rodeo, looking at the arena and waiting for an event to begin.  I don't usually get images like this, but I did that night and I love it.

It's Mother's Day Sunday, so HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all you moms out there.

Another Abandoned business

This structure looks like it must have been a car dealership once upon a time.  This side wall has this door and a sealed-up overhead door to the right 

and has wall art of this cowboy with a rope.  Off to the left side of the wall is a beautiful mural of vegetables in gorgeous colors.

Even though it has beautiful art work on it, it's stall abandoned and it's a sad sight.

Hat on Table

I was in a cowboy mood when I took this pic.  

This week has been crazy busy:  

getting ready for Election Day on Monday, 

working the polls on Tuesday, 

returning the election equipment on Wed,

 spending time finishing last minute details on Thurs before leaving for Ohio on Friday, 

photographing a rehearsal dinner Friday night, 

then the wedding on Sat, 

then traveling back on Sunday.  

Sheesh, I don't want to rush my life along, but I'll be glad when this week is done...

All good, fun things and this craziness is an anomaly in my life

The Rodeo

There's an annual rodeo in Coleman, TX which is one of the only outdoor rodeos that's anywhere near to me.  I've been several times and just love it.  It begins at 8 pm so there's still enough light to get some good photos even though I don't have the best lens for low light.  I considered renting one for the event, but I have a lot of bigger bills that come due in June, so I just dealt with what I have.

Fortunately, the first event, while still pretty light, is the bronc riding.  I had a difficult time deciding which "one" image to use for this post.  So here ya go.
