These are not great pictures, but it will be a great story.
In July I attended a photo weekend at the U. of MA. One of the speakers was a gentleman named Andre Gallante. He has co-authored several books with another photographer, Freeman Patterson, both of whom are located in Canada, and are amazing artists.
I purchased this book from Andre after attending his session. It's full of beautiful work from locations all over the world. He does a lot of special effects by sandwiching two/three images together to get very dreamy and ethereal looking scenes.
One of the images, seen below, was taken in Tuscany, Italy. The way he puts the images together creates a dreamy, enticing scene--making the viewer wish he/she were there. Andre and Freeman offer workshops in their home area in Canada, and I would love to attend one of them. That's my goal for next year.
But for now, I'll just count down for the next 36 days, at which time I will be boarding a plane at about 5 pm in the afternoon, with several of my photographer friends, bound for...... drumroll, please!!!
TUSCANY, ITALY
We will be spending 10 glorious days at a great bed & breakfast, traveling around, photographing whatever we see and enjoying the sites!
