Skeeter Creek

Every Saturday night throughout the summer there's a free concert at Riverlink Park in Amsterdam. I've been trying to get to one of those concerts since the beginning of the series. I finally made it there tonight.
The group that performed is Skeeter Creek, a country group that is local to the Capital district area.
It was a beautiful evening. A little muggy, but also a little cooler after the rain today.
Half the fun for me is to photograph the crowd at any event.

These are great...every one of them! I really love the people shots you captured, and the image of the crowd with the beautiful foreground flowers sharply in focus is wonderful! The band shots are great, too...so crisp and clear. You had a great night of photography, with a bonus of a little background music! :-)
I always miss those events too..darn it. Your photos show that it was a nice summer night and a time to relax with music. Nice.
Nice work! At Amsterdam's Riverlink Park, the bandshell and ropes that anchor it make photographing the performers a real challange.
