Thanksgiving Dinner, or, Why You Need to Take
More Than One Shot
133/366
Thanksgiving Day and we spent the afternoon at the sister-in-law's house. I forewarned everyone that we would be gathering for a group photo after dinner. Amazingly, not a single person argued the point. (image me doing a victory dance)
So while everyone was hovering around, sis-in-law decided to pose. I couldn't resist this image.

Here's exactly why you need to take more than one shot:
|
the yawn |
|
the hunched shoulders |
|
the closed eyes |
|
finally, the best of the bad shots |

You're too funny! :-)
Lovely family photos, and I really enjoyed your narrative...great posting!
I agree with Trish's comments. I'd add that it was a good photo lesson too!
Great group pic! Taking them in a crowded house is always such a chore. I try to take one from the end of our long table, but the end people are never in focus or light. Oh well. Only so much you can do with an uncooperative family! (I did not do a happy dance.)
