Painted Fire hydrant
A red and green painted fire hydrant in downtown Abilene.
There are green paint drops on the sidewalk from when the hydrant was being painted.
Far Side of Fifty and HappyK~~it was only when I moved to TX that I saw fire hydrants painted these bright colors. I guess since there isn't any snow, they're easier to see, so it kind of makes sense.

up here they are usually red, many places have snow sticks by the hydrants!
I've seen them painted like these too.
I remember when they were red and silver topped growing up in NJ.
