Weeds in Cement

I was walking along a sidewalk the other day.  It was cracked in one spot and this weed was growing through the crack.  Nature is amazing.

Weeds

On my way home from taking photos in a very backwater non-existent town, I stopped to get pizza at one of the best pizza places in the area.  While waiting, I walked around with my camera and saw this clump of weeds.  I'm always amazed that weeds can and do grow anywhere.  They poke through cement and gravel and they not only grow, but they thrive.

Probably a good lesson for us Christians.  Grow everywhere and thrive.
I'll have to remember that.

Beautiful Nature

Seen in a back yard of an acquaintance in upstate NY.  How I've missed this...

My heart is grateful for:
the respite of being someplace "green" for a few days

Hallway Decor

One of the buildings I go into frequently has this plant as part of the decor at the end of the hallway.  It looks like it's doing pretty well with the light from the window.  I think it's a pretty new addition.

Ivy on a wall

I was walking around downtown again to find some photo ops.  It's a beautiful day, not even a sweater needed.  I've been past this building many times, but today I noticed the ivy growing up the side of the building along the window.   The blue sky and the clouds are reflected in the window.  Just a really pretty composition I think.

My heart is grateful for:
seeing something pretty in a scene I've passed many times before
