This is one of the churches in downtown Abilene, Texas.  I don't know the denomination but I think it's a cool structure.

This beautiful church building is located in Stamford, TX on a corner of one of the main streets through the center of town.

Sign in Taco Casa

After our Sunday night session at church some of us go out for dinner.  We seem to switch between two places and tonight it was Taco Casa.  They always have a small white board on the counter with some sort Scripture verse.  I finally remembered to take a photo of it tonight.

First Baptist Church

I love the architecture of old churches.  Usually the columns are separate from the building, but these columns seem to be part of the building.  Still beautiful.  

I was using my wide-angle lens and was only about 2 feet away from the building while taking this shot.  So fun.

getting the good news that my baby-boy (now 35) and his wife are expecting their first child in early December
