Through the Opening

Somewhere in downtown Abilene, there's a brick wall with tiny openings as a barricade for a courtyard.  There was no sign indicating what the business/courtyard was, but the design on the far wall was pretty interesting.
I wonder if anyone ever uses the courtyard when the weather isn't so brutally hot?

Golf Ball Graffiti

A friend of mine lives fairly close to one of the golf clubs in town.  One of the routes to get to her place is to drive by the club house of the golf course.  On my way home tonight, I saw this artwork on the side of the building and decided to make an image of it.

It was a really busy day for me.  I left the house at 9 am and didn't return until 8 pm.
Cleaned an airbnb for several hours this morning and then helped another friend relocate their
travel trailer, but first we had to dig it out of the mud when it got stuck.
I'm thinking I might be getting too old to be doing this kind of physical effort, but the truth is, even though it was hard work and I can barely keep my eyes open as I write this blog post I am so, so, so grateful to God for the strength and energy he has supplied me with.
I can do this work and then be tired.  Praise God.
