These old license plates were laying on the floor of an abandoned structure.

Dining Room Decor

I was at a friend's house today for a meeting.  I needed a photo for today when I realized this display case would make the perfect image.
How beautiful is this?

Abilene Ballet Building

The downtown ballet building has great street art on the outside.  The rest of the structure is just an ordinary rectangular building, but this art is appealing.

Retro Tombstone

I pulled into a cemetery looking for something interesting to photograph and I came across this retro tombstone propped against a gnarly tree trunk.
The letters are very hard to read but it looks like the last date is 1896.

Inside the Dallas Airport

This sign is located at the escalator leading people to the shuttles to gates throughout the airport.  To the right of the image are windows which look out onto the runway and the ramps that enable customers to get onto their planes.

my heart is grateful that:
my trip finally ended although it took three times longer than it should have due to cancelled flights because of bad weather

NO PARKING

It was cloudy and cool today, just perfect for walking around downtown looking for photo ops, so that's what I did and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This sign is on the outside of a building and there doesn't seem to be any reason why you can't park in the spot.  The sign is old and worn out but the message is still clear.

Hello  2023

Hand Made Baby Blocks

There might be a new grandbaby in the relatively
near future (not yet though).
My last unmarried child married in 2022.

These blocks are the entire alphabet with a pic for each letter. They take a long time to make so as soon as they announced the wedding date I decided to get a head start on them and have them ready.

There's also a grandson who's getting married later this year, so I guess I should get started on another set. Even though they're time-consuming, I'm happy to make them because it helps me stay busy in the evening when there aren't any meetings to attend.
