Gazania

I'm not a gardener.  I manage to keep indoor plants alive and flourishing, but I don't like doing yard work.  I have tried in the past to grow small areas of flowers, but in all my years of doing that, I've NEVER seen these flowers before.
They grow well in full sun for several months during the summer and are often grown as drought resistant ground cover. They're native to South Africa.
They're simply gorgeous.

They are so pretty, they do close up at night or on cloudy days. :)

Thanks for your comments HappyK and Far Side of Fifty. I just checked to see if they close at night and the site said they close at night and on cloudy days.
