My Dream Job
29/365

The other day my friend and I were wandering around Aulani (the Disney Resort on Oahu), when we saw this going on.  Various "characters" come out at specific times of the day and the guests can have their photos taken with them.

This is just too much fun to watch, and being a photographer at Aulani is my dream job.  I don't think it will ever happen and there are many reasons why--reasons I can't discuss.  But every time we go there and I watch the photographers working with the "guests", my heart breaks a little more at the lost opportunity.

Imagine going to work every day and having so much fun!!
There's a saying:  "Find something you love to do and you'll never work a day in your life".

Anyway, before we were asked to stop taking pics, I managed to get a few.

You're just full of surprises, Linda! I've known you for many years, but never knew being a photographer at Aulani is your dream job. Never give up hope!!! :-)

These are great images...and you can tell the subjects are having loads of fun! I was a little surprised, though, to see more adults..rather than children...posing with the characters.

Also...it just struck me...what a contrast between these images, and the one you posted earlier this week of "The other face of Hawaii."

Have a great weekend! :-)

Fun, fun, fun! I would think it uplifting to see smiles and hear laughter every day. Nice photos.
