Supposed to Rain

A few days ago the weather report for today was rain.  It is my only day off this week, so I was a little disappointed.  But this morning dawned beautiful and dry, so I decided to head to the beach.  I went to Ko Olina first.  Ko Olina is a beautiful resort near the west coast of Oahu.  There are 4 man-made lagoons and the beaches are gorgeous.

After leaving there, I headed to the North Shore. I heard that the waves were supposed to be big and I wanted to see for myself. I made my way to Shark's Cove and wasn't the least bit disappointed. The waves were huge.

These are fabulous!!! I love the layering of the elements and the perspective of #1. The other 3 images...of the waves...are really beautiful!!! I love how you captured the water...frozen in time...and the bright white against a backdrop of dramatic sky make these all winners!!!

How about doing a book...Hawaii 2011? I'd buy a copy! :-)
