Late Post for Friday, May 22

Driving home yesterday evening. I pulled onto the thruway and saw this sight. I immediately pulled onto the shoulder and grabbed my camera. I only had my point and shoot with me, and the image doesn't look anywhere near as beautiful as the actual scene was, but I hope you get the idea.

Good for you, for stopping to capture that gorgeous sunset! Now I will attempt to catch up from the past week: THURSDAY, 5/14: PARTS/SECTIONS OF CAR - Loved your reflection shots!!! FRIDAY, 5/15: GOODLUCK LAKE & LEAH COMES HOME - Very pretty lake image, but my heart melted seeing Leah home! :-)
SATURDAY, 5/16: RV - All the comforts of home! SUNDAY, 5/17: GRADUATION - Wow...beautiful images! You did a great job capturing Caleb's big day. I'm sure in time he will appreciate having those photos...and I know you will! :-) MONDAY, 5/18: PICK-UP STICKS - Clever, considering you were "picking up" right where you left off with a friendship. TUESDAY, 5/19: THE LESO - Lovely colors/patterns. Liked the composition with the basket. Wonderful story! WEDNESDAY, 5/22: "REAP WHAT YOU SOW" - You have a daughter who is beautiful both inside and out. Thanks for sharing this heartwarming story. THURSDAY, 5/21: THROUGH A WINDOW - I liked the angles in #1, and the pattern formed by the blinds intersecting with the tree shadow in #2. Good job! (There, I'm all caught up!).

Your sunset is beautiful. I admire that you pulled over and had your camera. I was at the locks the same evening, with NO camera and I missed this breathtaking sunset. Good for you for capturing it.
