The Islands
I wanted to do something else with the blocks after my post from yesterday. I had a very short window of time while the baby was sleeping, so this is what I came up with.
I'd love to try something like this again with some Island accents. ie. flowers, lei, photos etc.

OK...THIS TIME I'M PAYING ATTENTION! I SEE THE WORDS "THE ISLANDS" SPELLED OUT!!! Very creative, Linda...and you're getting a lot of mileage out of those blocks. Did you bring them from home? I like this image even more than the day's before. The bright colors certainly pop against the pure black background. Your idea of adding some island accents to it sounds great...will be looking for future postings! :-)
I like these blocks more..the black really helps them stand out. Also, when I enlarged the picture I think I even enjoyed them more b/c the yellow doesnt get lost. Thanks for using orange, my fav color!
