Washington Park

Went to Washington Park to photograph the tulips in macro mode this afternoon.

It was very windy--too windy to do a good job with macro. I've photographed the tulips often enough that it's becoming a challenge to get any shots that are different and interesting. I don't think I succeeded doing that today, but here are two of the very few that I think are acceptable.

2nd image is wonderful...but my favorite is #1...love that composition! How did you get the flowers to be still? The wind was blowing so hard here, I didn't even attempt an outside shot (I could hardly keep myself upright, much less hold a camera steady!). Great job, Linda!

I love them both. 2 Great contrast of the same subject. One is calm & the other is manic. Nicely done!
