Through the Windshield

It was another one of those days when I couldn't imagine what I was going to photograph. It was pretty dreary out and there were even some light sprinkles, so it wasn't a very photographically stimulating day. We left for church for the missions conference around 2:30. I don't usually get the opportunity (??) to sit in the back seat, so while I was sitting there waiting for the driver, I had another epiphany!! Get out the camera.

So I started looking through the view finder and discovered how interesting things look from the back seat through the viewfinder. It was just another opportunity to see things with a different perspective.

Andy Rooney wisdom: I've learned.... That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

I love the idea that life is spectacular in the small happenings! Your photos capture interest. Did your driver think you were crazy, or is he used to your crazy photography? Nice job!

I love that first image, Linda!!! It's funny how we all used the word "dreary" to describe Saturday's weather. You did a great job of using that to your advantage. It's apparent that I will have quite a difficult time keeping "The Trophy".

What I like about your photos is their testament to reality: the rainy weather, cars and hospital signs, the reflection of the driver. It's all very real and simple! Good idea:)
